Both churches operate the East-John Youth Center, Inc., located at 11835 Mill Bridge Road, Lusby, MD 20657 (410-326-1150).  The center provides recreational and educational opportunities with outdoor swimming pool, wading pool, basketball court, nature trail, pavilion, volley ball court, horseshoe pit, bathhouse, and snack bar.  A multi-purpose room is available for rental for special events.  Their programs include a Summer Camp, Homework Center and Adopt-a-Grandparent Club.  The East-John Youth Center is youth-minded, but family oriented.

Senior ministries include the Annual Christmas Dinner for senior citizens where family and friends enjoy fellowship and a wonderful meal with all the trimmings!  The Annual Golden Harvest Social includes Christian entertainment, harvest meal, memory photo and door prizes galore, which makes this annual fellowship for senior citizens one of the most anticipated events of the year.
